Forbes Media acquires Investopedia.com

New York—Forbes Media said that it has acquired Investopedia.com, a Canadian-based Web site for investor education. Financial terms were not disclosed. Investopedia.com, which was introduced in 1999, features more than 1,000 articles by financial experts and includes a financial dictionary with 5,300 terms. The site attracts 2.5 unique monthly users. The existing management team will remain in place.
