Forbes Media launches ‘Forbes India’

Mumbai, India—Forbes Media has partnered with Network18, an Indian media company, to launch Forbes India this week.

The magazine will be published biweekly and have an initial print run of 75,000. The editorial team is led by Indrajit Gupta. In addition to the magazine, the partnership will produce the “Forbes India Show,” which will appear on CNBC-TV18 in India. “I doubt there’s been a better time to launch Forbes India. In the midst of economic doom and gloom, India’s story is one of resilience in adversity and optimism for the future,” Steve Forbes, chairman-CEO of Forbes Media, said in a statement.
