New York—Forbes Vietnam, a Vietnamese-language monthly magazine, has launched under a licensing agreement between Forbes Media and Interactive Media, an IDG Ventures Vietnam portfolio company, in cooperation with Vietnamese cultural newspaper Boa Van Hoa. In a statement, William Adamopoulos, CEO-Asia for Forbes Media, said the launch of Forbes Vietnam is “timely given Vietnam’s rising economic prospects and its fast-growing community of CEOs, tycoons, philanthropists, investors and aspiring entrepreneurs.” The cover of the first issue of Forbes Vietnam features Pham Nhat Vuong, the first Vietnamese to make Forbes’ list of billionaires worldwide.
