New York—Forbes.com has begun promoting widgets that it says allow users to view, engage and share the site’s content on blogs, social media sites such as Facebook and MySpace, personalized home pages like Netvibes and iGoogle, and personal Web sites. The widgets are broken out into channels, including Breaking News, Business, Entrepreneurs, Latest Video, Lifestyle, Stock to Watch, Technology and Top Lists. In a promotional e-mail about the new tools, Forbes.com encourages readers to “Get with it. Get widgets!”
