'Fortune' to launch ad campaign

New York--AOL-Time Warner’s Fortune said it plans to launch a new print and outdoor advertising campaign in June, its first in almost three years. The campaign is built around the tagline, “Every Fortune tells the story.” The ads in the campaign, which are intended to emphasize Fortune’s editorial quality, feature photos of people recently profiled in the magazine, accompanied by an unexpected one-word headline. For instance, the headline “Power” accompanies a photo of Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, who are the most successful child stars of all time. The ads are slated to run in trade publications as well as Time Inc. magazines such as Time, Business 2.0 and Money.
