.Fox Networks forms vertical ad network

Los Angeles—.Fox Networks, an online ad network operated by Fox International Channels, announced the launch of Worthnet.Fox, a vertical ad network targeting the financial industry.

Worthnet.Fox will feature more than 30 financial news and investment sites including www.wsj.com, www.barrons.com and www.marketwatch.com. The network will target senior business decision-makers and affluent investors.

Worthnet.Fox will be primarily focused in Latin America.

This marks the first vertical network launched by .Fox Networks, a year-old unit of News Corp. The network offers online ad inventory to advertisers outside the U.S. In April, .Fox Networks purchased European online video ad network Utarget.
