Hanley Wood has found itself in the bull's-eye of the recession: It's a media company in a depressed industry (construction) and it was acquired by a financial buyer (JPMorgan Partners) in 2005. The combination has forced Anton to cut jobs and consolidate Hanley Wood's units under his leadership and that of Peter Goldstone, company president.
