New York--Just a year after it was launched, Gruner + Jahr USA Publishing has disbanded its Business Innovator Group. The group was created last summer to help grow Fast Company
magazines, which G&J purchased in 2000 for a combined $500 million. The group's head, Scott Crystal, has been let go. Fast Company's
revenues are down 20.6% year-to-date, and Inc's
are off 13.9%, according to the Publishers Information Bureau.
