Garfinkel joins D'Arcy as president-chief creative officer

New York--High-profile b-to-b advertising veteran Lee Garfinkel is joining D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles as president and chief creative officer-worldwide, a newly created position. He will oversee all the creative efforts of the agency, a unit of Chicago-based Bcom3 Group Inc. Garfinkel joins D'Arcy from Lowe Lintas & Partners, which he left seven months ago after a stint as chairman-CCO. At D'Arcy, he will oversee b-to-b accounts including Cap Gemini Ernst & Young L.L.P. and Cadillac, a unit of General Motors Corp., with a heavy concentration on the corporate automotive marketplace.
