GartnerGroup, CNET in expansive news commentary deal

The line between e-commerce news and consulting content is getting blurrier. Internet commerce consultancy GartnerGroup Inc. and CNET Networks Inc., the San Francisco-based technology news and information portal, signed an extensive, breaking news commentary pact. Stamford, Conn.-based GartnerGroup's consultants will provide commentary, called Gartner Viewpoint, alongside CNET's technology news. Additionally, GartnerGroup will begin providing commentary for CNET's new b-to-b channel, CNET Enterprise. CNET Enterprise is aimed at general execs and IT pros.
