GE Capital to launch b-to-b e-commerce system

Stamford, Conn.--GE Capital will in March launch the GE Business Marketplace, a business-to-business electronic-commerce program that allows midsize to large businesses to make online transactions. GE Business Marketplace will allow businesses to, for example, access corporate credit card, travel and car fleet accounts over the Internet. GE Capital, which has more than $300 billion in assets under management, is developing the system with Global Commerce Systems, Broomfield, Colo.
