GE Equity, HarbourVest, others inject $33M into webPLAN

New York-based GE Equity, Boston-based HarbourVest Partners L.L.C and three other companies invested $33 million in webPLAN, a Chicago-based technology vendor. webPLAN, which develops supply chain management and CRM strategies, counts among its customers Lucent Technologies and SCI Systems. The investment will be used to develop the company's marketing activities. Other investors include TechnoCap Inc., Netweb Investments Inc. and the Intel 64 Fund.
