GE launches $50M fund for European Net start-ups

New York--General Electric Co. has launched a $50 million fund to invest in European Internet start-up companies. The fund will be managed by the London office of Stamford, Conn.-based GE Capital. GE Capital plans to seek further financing relationships with start-ups in which it invests.
