GE launches e-marketplace

Gaithersberg, Md.--GE Global eXchange Services Monday launched Express Marketplace, which is designed to help companies do low-cost supply chain collaboration. GE currently serves more than 100,000 trading partners, mainly through private electronic data interchange (EDI) networks. The new marketplace will be open to those companies and will focus on services such as RFQs, e-procurement, materials forecasting, order status tracking and financial settlement.
