GE Plastics sponsors NASCAR car

Pittsfield, Mass.--GE Plastics, a division of Fairfield, Conn.-based General Electric Co., announced a one-year sponsorship of a NASCAR Winston Cup Racing car. GE Plastics will sponsor the DEWALT #17 stock car driven by Matt Kenseth. In 2002, Kenseth and crew chief Robbie Reiser posted five victories, a pit crew championship, one pole position and 19 Top 10 performances. Most NASCAR vehicles have windshields composed of GE Plastics' Lexan resin, according to the company.
