New York—General Electric Co. debuted a new TV spot in its “Brilliant Machines” campaign Thursday evening during a broadcast of NFL Football on NBC. The spot, created by BBDO New York, shows how GE is connecting big machines, Big Data and people as part of its Industrial Internet business.
The new spot features the DeLorean car from the movie “Back to the Future,” along with a voice-over from “Back to the Future” star Michael J. Fox. The ad, demonstrating how GE is using data to power entire cities, will continue to run on NBC and other networks including CNBC, Fox Business News, MSNBC and NBC Sports through the end of the year. The budget was not disclosed.
