Gigaom closing paidContent website

San Francisco—Media company Gigaom Inc. announced it will close its paidContent website and move its content to a new media channel on Gigaom.com. The new channel will continue to cover emerging media, business models and technologies for media industry readers, and paidContent archives will be accessible, Gigaom Executive Editor Tom Krazit said in a post. Gigaom acquired paidContent in March of last year from London-based Guardian Media Group.
