BPA Worldwide, which lost an estimated 700 members in the recent economic downturn, has taken action to transform the way it audits audience. With its Brand Reach Audit, BPA now tabulates how many readers a brand reaches via its magazine, website, newsletters and events. Membership has started to grow again, and BPA's initial audits in fiscal 2010 beat the organization's goals.
