Global Sources reports higher earnings, revenue

New York--Global Sources reported its net income grew 107% to $2.7 million in the fourth quarter of 2004 compared with $1.3 million in the same period of 2003.

Revenue for the fourth quarter was $25.6 million, an increase of 15% compared with $22.2 million a year earlier.

The company also reported that revenue from China grew 40% in the fourth quarter to $11.8 million and accounted for 46% of total revenue.

Net income for all of 2003 increased to $7.3 million from $4.3 million in 2002. Revenue for last year totaled $91.7 million, a 5% increase over 2002.
