GM, Lufthansa, Best Buy make agency changes

Detroit—General Motors, which has been consolidating its multiple agencies, has dropped Big Fuel, Detroit, as its social media agency. GM's social media duties will be handled by its creative agencies, which include Fallon Worldwide, Goodby Silverstein & Partners and Publicis Groupe. Meanwhile, Deutsche Lufthansa has awarded its global creative business to Kolle Rebbe, Hamburg, Germany, dropping in the process McCann Erickson, Berlin, which first won the account in 2000. Kolle Rebbe will take over the account in March. And Best Buy has added CHI & Partners and Wunderman, both WPP companies, as lead agencies, to develop social programs and Best Buy business unit campaigns.
