New York—Goodby Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco, won a Gold Effie award for its “Printing Payback Guarantee” campaign created for HP's Imaging Printing Group in the recession marketing category at the annual Effie Awards.
The Effie Awards were presented June 7 at a ceremony in New York, recognizing effective marketing communications programs,
Ogilvy & Mather North America and Mindshare/Neo, both New York, won a Silver Global Effie for IBM's “SmarterCities” campaign. The Global Effies recognize effective global brand-building programs and require that a single brand idea run across at least four countries in two or more regions of the world.
Also at the awards ceremony, Bailey Lauerman, Omaha, Neb., won a Silver Effie for Cargill's “Right to the Bunk” campaign in the agricultural/industrial category.
