Google expands newspaper ad sales

Published on .

Mountain View, Calif.—Google Tuesday said it expanded its Google Print Ads test program to enable AdWords advertisers to buy ads in 225 newspapers. The print ads test originally debuted in November with a small group of about 100 advertisers and 50 newspapers. The search engine said any advertiser using AdWords can now participate and buy newspaper print ads by selecting the news outlets and placing a bid for the ad space.
