Google introduces self-service option for serving ads

Mountain View, Calif.--Google Technology Inc. has introduced a self-service feature for its Google AdSense product that allows Web publishers to serve ads that are targeted to specific content on their Web pages. The new option lets publishers serve targeted text-based Google AdWords on their sites, and Google will pay them for clicks on the ads. Publishers can apply for the program at www.google.com/adsense.
