Google partners with Sprint for mobile search

Overland Park, Kan.—Google and Sprint announced a partnership that will integrate Google applications and services into Sprint customers’ mobile phone service.

Under the partnership, Google will become Sprint’s preferred mobile search provider, giving Sprint customers easier access to Google Maps for mobile, YouTube and other services.

Going forward, Sprint and Google will continue to develop ways to provide users with new mobile experiences and more application choices, according to the companies.
