Google signs ad distribution deal with VNU

Mountain View, Calif.—Google said Tuesday it would now distribute advertising across the Web sites of VNU’s U.S. and European b-to-b publications. The partnership involves such VNU publications as Adweek, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, Progressive Grocer and Successful Meetings. The agreement calls for Google’s Adsense contextual ads to appear across VNU’s global network of Web sites. Google has existing partnerships with business media companies Ziff Davis, Hanley Wood, Reed Business Information and TechTarget.
