Last December, EH Publishing didn't launch just one website to serve decision-makers responsible for audiovisual and IT purchases in the corporate, hospitality, higher education, K-12, healthcare and house-of-worship markets. TechDecisions is actually a portfolio of six separate sites.
“Each site is unique and stands on its own,” said Cindy Davis, editor in chief of TechDecisions Media. “The sites use a common content management system, but [each] can be highly customized based on how it needs to deliver relevant content to each audience.”
The sites are visually and technically state-of-the-art, with high-impact story pages that include social sharing tools and related story suggestions complete with headlines, decks and photos. They offer video players, slideshows, webinars and podcasts.
EH Publishing's in-house development team built the sites from the ground up, rather than modifying versions of the company's pre-existing sites, which include CE Pro, Electronic House and Robotics Trends. “We had a unique opportunity to start from scratch with a new brand and without any preconceived notions as to how the sites should work,” Davis said.
Ken Moyes, CEO of the privately held company, said, “EH Publishing is, at its core, an entrepreneurial company, which in today's evolving media landscape has given us the agility to recognize need in our markets and respond with relevant, quality media products.”
