Greene leaves PostNewsweek Tech Media, replaced by three executives

Washington, D.C.—PostNewsweek Tech Media President David Greene left the company last month and was replaced by three new exec VPs. Duncan Ballantine, a 15-year marketing veteran, who has held advertising, sales and publishing positions at The Wall Street Journal and Washington Post, has been named group publisher for Defense Systems, Government Computer News, Government Leader and Washington Technology. Jeri Thorne has been named general manager, overseeing all marketing, online media, production, circulation and business development. Prior to joining PostNewsweek, Thorne worked as a consultant for Discovery Communications’ Education Division. Tom Temin has been promoted to exec VP-editor in chief. Temin, who joined Government Computer News in 1991, became senior VP-editorial in 2003.
