Greg Strakosch, TechTarget

Published on .

Where: TechTarget
Why:In May 2007, TechTarget started trading on the NASDAQ exchange, raising almost $100 million. About half of that went toward the acquisition of KnowledgeStorm a few months later. This year, TechTarget launched its 50th Web site; its total now includes its first two non-U.S.-based sites. In a recent earnings call, Strakosch told analysts his goal in 2009 is "to remain profitable and continue to invest in our growth. We will continue to launch new Web sites, expand internationally and be opportunistic in regard to acquisitions."
