Hacker Group creates Green Marketing Coalition

Seattle—Direct marketing agency Hacker Group announced the formation of the Green Marketing Coalition to work towards industrywide green marketing standards and guidelines.

Hacker Group began researching how it could reduce the agency’s carbon footprint last year and began phasing in green initiatives, such as working with vendors committed to recycling.

Representatives from companies including Data-Mail, FastSigns, Microsoft Corp., Nahan Printing, OptimaHealth and Washington Mutual have joined the Green Marketing Coalition. Members will meet on a regular basis.
