More than half of 'Atlantic's' revenue is digital

Washington, D.C.—The Atlantic said digital revenue made up more than half of its overall advertising in revenue in October, marking the first time in the brand's history that digital surpassed print. For the month, digital comprised 51% of ad sales, while print accounted for 49%. The magazine brand said digital outperformed print during what was a record-setting month for print ad sales. The Atlantic said year-to-date digital ad sales through October are up 37% compared with the year-earlier period on TheAtlantic.com, TheAtlanticWire.com and TheAtlanticCities.com.
