Hallmark Business Expressions debuts ‘green’ holiday cards

Kansas City, Mo.—Hallmark Business Expressions, the b-to-b subsidiary of Hallmark Cards, announced Friday it has launched a collection of environmentally friendly holiday business greeting cards.

The collection, which features nine new cards produced on stock made from 50% sugar cane pulp and 50% recycled paper, is part of a larger initiative to minimize the greeting card giant’s impact on the environment, according to the company.

There are a number of designs in the new collection, from traditional holiday designs with such messages as “Seasons greetings” and “Happy holidays” as well as more green-themed designs and messages. In conjunction with the release of its green card line, Hallmark Business Expressions announced the availability of its full 2008 holiday business greeting card line.
