Hamilton named president of 'Aviation Week'

New York—McGraw-Hill Cos. announced Tuesday that Gregory Hamilton has been named president of Aviation Week, which covers the aviation, aerospace and defense industries. Hamilton, who was most recently was publisher-strategic media for the brand, succeeds Tom Henricks, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities, McGraw-Hill said in a press release.

Hamilton, who joined McGraw-Hill in 1982, has been publisher-strategic media at Aviation Week since 2002. In that time, he helped expand the brand’s global events business. “Greg’s passion for the industry, his experience in growing new businesses and expanding Aviation Week’s reach into our markets and customers, and his success in launching digital products will serve our customers well,” Glenn S. Goldberg, president of McGraw-Hill Information & Media, said in a statement.
