Hanley-Wood to buy Public Works Journal

Washington, D.C.--Hanley-Wood announced Monday that it plans to acquire all of the assets of Public Works Journal Corp., Ridgewood, N.J.

Public Works magazine reaches 66,000 engineers, contractors and other professionals involved in the design, construction and maintenance of infrastructure.

In addition to the magazine, Public Works Journal Corp. operates www.pwmag.com and produces an annual product directory.

"The acquisition is part of Hanley-Wood's strategic plan to aggressively expand our portfolio into the commercial construction sector," said Peter Goldstone, president of Hanley-Wood's magazine division.

The deal is expected to close April 30.
