By Published on .

Washington, D.C.—Michael M. Wood, co-founder of Hanley Wood, has formed Redwood Investments to invest in business information, green energy media, association trade shows and b-to-b print properties.

Wood left Hanley Wood after the company was sold in 2005 to what is now CCMP Capital. Between 2006 and 2009 Wood served as U.S. ambassador to Sweden. His son, Michael Wood Jr., left Hanley Wood last week and will officially join Redwood Investments Feb. 1.
