Washington--Builderburg Group Inc. has sold its Journal of Light Construction to construction industry publisher Hanley-Wood L.L.C., it was confirmed Friday. The deal brings Hanley-Wood a 60,000-circulation magazine that reaches home builders and remodeling companies. The purchase price was not disclosed, but Hanley-Wood said the Journal of Light Construction, a subscription-only magazine, has increased its circulation by 65% in five years. Hanley-Wood also gets a three-year-old conference business, dubbed JLC Live!, in the deal. Hanley-Wood, Washington, said its annual revenues will exceed $133 million after the acquisition. Builderburg sold Tools of the Trade magazine to Hanley-Wood last year.
