Washington, D.C.—Hanley Wood Magazines this past weekend distributed the premiere issue of Architect.
The publication, which will run two times this year before moving to a monthly frequency starting in January, will serve as a hub for Hanley Wood’s expansion into commercial construction. It has an initial circulation of 88,000; about 60,000 copies will go to practicing certified architects.

, which Hanley Wood acquired from VNU Business Media in September, along with Architectural Lighting. The launch of Architect also includes an online companion, architectmagazine.com
