Harte-Hanks boosts Web services

San Antonio, Texas -- Harte-Hanks announced an expanded interactive direct marketing initiative that includes Web site development, e-commmerce and other Internet services being offered through a new division, Harte-Hanks Interactive. The new services will enable clients to gather information from customers in real-time Internet transactions and use it to develop data-driven strategies. ``The Internet has enormous potential as a direct marketing channel on its own, but its true potential can only be reached if it is integrated into a complete direct marketing effort,'' said Richard Hochhauser, president-CEO of Harte-Hanks Direct Marketing.
