Harty takes helm of Meredith's National Media Group

New York—Meredith Corp., a media and marketing company catering to women, on Tuesday named Tom Harty President of its National Media Group. Harty succeeds Jack Griffin, who has chosen to “pursue another opportunity,” according to Meredith. Harty, who joined Meredith in 2004 as VP of its Magazine Group, has played a key role in developing Meredith's Vision 2013 strategic initiative, which is designed to grow Meredith's audiences through online initiatives.
