HMP Communications acquires Princeton Media Associates

New York—HMP Communications, a b-to-b media company that targets health care professionals, has acquired Princeton Media Associates, which specializes in continuing medical and pharmacy education.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Princeton offers continuing medical education in several formats, including monographs, symposia, teleconferences and webinars. HMP Communications, a portfolio company of private equity company Alta Communications, produces medical journals, trade shows, online programs and customized programs within clinical areas such as cardiology, dermatology, podiatry and wound care.

Media investment banking firm Berkery, Noyes represented Princeton Media Associates in the transaction.
