Home Depot wins ABP's Grand Littleford Award

New York--The American Business Press announced Tuesday the results of last week's 2nd Annual William D. Littleford Awards for Corporate Community Service. The awards recognize community service of companies and the magazines that report the charity work. Home Depot won the Grand Littleford Award for its work with YouthBuild, which was featured in National Home Center News. Other winners were the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board, featured in Air Safety Week; Senior Friendship Centers Health Services, featured in Medical Economics; Marriott's Fairfield Inns, featured in Incentive; and Homes for Habitat, featured in Residential Architect. The awards are named for William D. Littleford, chairman emeritus of BPI Communications.
