New York—The Out-of-Home Video Advertising Bureau made its official debut Monday, announcing its initial membership roster and the ad executives who will oversee the organization.
Formed and funded by 10 companies, the organization is designed to help provide standards and best practices for the burgeoning out-of-home video advertising industry. It will also foster collaboration between agencies and out-of-home ad networks.
The current membership consists of: Adspace Network, Captivate Network, Channel M, ClubCom, Office Media Network, Premier Retail Network, Reactrix Systems, Simon Brand Ventures, Hotel Networks and Transit Television Network.
Mike DiFranza, president-general manager of Captivate Network, will serve as chairman and acting president while the group looks for a full-time president.
