House moves one step closer to postal reform

Washington, D.C.—The Postal Accountability & Enhancement Act was unanimously passed out of the House Government Reform Committee Wednesday and sent to the full House. The bill aims to modernize the U.S. Postal Service and help it achieve future solvency. Recently added provisions include flexible salary caps that would allow the USPS to offer bonuses to employees similar to incentive programs in other sectors.
