HP extends printing portfolio to reach emerging markets, in-house marketers

Palo Alto, Calif.—Hewlett-Packard Co. announced Tuesday it has expanded its LaserJet printer product lineup to address business customers in fast-growing emerging markets, as well as businesses that want to print marketing collateral in-house.

That expansion includes a new relationship it has formed with iStockphoto, a marketplace for stock photography, to enable users to access its online image library, as well as new business printing services and software it has introduced.

The emerging markets it is particularly targeting are Brazil, China, India and Russia.

"Whether working from a home office in Alaska or a small business in Shanghai, customers can find an HP printing solution that meets their needs," said George Mulhern, senior VP, LaserJet Business, HP, in a statement. "HP understands that customers are not looking for a one-size-fits-all product line to help them increase their marketing effectiveness."
