HP ranked No. 1 in online customer respect

Bellevue, Wash.--Hewlett-Packard Co. was ranked No. 1 among high-tech companies for online customer respect, according to a survey by The Customer Respect Group. The study examined more than 500 Web sites to determine 25 attributes that enhance the online customer experience. The HP Web site, at www.hp.com, was relaunched last year following the computer maker's merger with Compaq Computer Corp.
