HP seeks CMO

Published on .

Palo Alto, Calif.—Hewlett-Packard Co. announced that Cathy Lyons, who has been exec VP-CMO since June 2005, is returning to the company’s Imaging and Printing Group, effective immediately.

The company’s corporate marketing staff will report to Shane Robison, exec VP-chief strategy and technology officer, while a search is under way for a new CMO.

“We are working hard to ensure that our imaging and printing business is positioned for continued growth, and Cathy’s move is part of that effort,” said Mark Hurd, HP chairman-CEO, in a statement. “By moving our corporate marketing assets closer to our technology and strategy activities, we can ensure they remain fully aligned and best able to support our business.” —Carol Krol
