HP serves up TV spot

Palo Alto, Calif.—Hewlett-Packard Co. has served up a new TV commercial starring tennis star Serena Williams. The spot, called “Achiever,” is part of HP’s overall marketing “The Computer Is Personal Again” campaign developed by Goodby, Sliverstein & Partners, San Francisco.

The ad, which shows Williams using her HP computer to manage her personal activities as well as track her competition and develop designs for her clothing line, is running on cable networks ESPN and USA. Online ads will run on ESPN.com, SportsIllustrated.com and Yahoo.com.

The budget was undisclosed.
