Hudson to succeed Kangas on ‘Nightly Business Report’

Miami, Fla.—”Nightly Business Report” announced that Tom Hudson will join Susie Gharib as co-anchor of the program, which is distributed nationally by PBS. Hudson succeeds Paul Kangas, who will retire at the end of the year. Hudson most recently was co-anchor of the nationally syndicated program “First Business.” He will make his first appearance as co-anchor of “Nightly Business Report” on Jan. 4.

Hudson will report from “NBR’s” headquarters at WPBT in Miami. The program is nationally underwritten by Franklin Templeton Investments. ExxonMobil is also a sponsor.
