Hurwitz Group overhauls site using Reef apps

San Francisco--Hurwitz Group Inc., a major presence in the technology research field, confirmed Wednesday that it plans an extensive overhaul of its corporate Web site, using technology from software vendor Reef, San Francisco. The research firm is using Reef Internetware, a suite of business software that uses Java-based applications to dish up content dynamically. Richard Kesner, Hurwitz Group's chief knowledge officer-CIO, said in a statement that the technology is more flexible than most e-commerce platforms. Hurwitz Group said it plans to go live with its new site in the fourth quarter.
