Eugene, Ore. -- Adscope Tuesday released updated figures on ad page counts among business technology magazines. The data showed Wired continued to lead the category with 1,314.7 ad pages in 1998. Few pages separated second place from fourth, as Upside (1,059.7 ad pages), The Red Herring (1,045.6 ad pages) and Fast Company (1,041.2 ad pages) were bunched together. Fast Company, however, showed remarkable growth, increasing its ad pages by more than 50% between 1997 and 1998. By contrast, The Red Herring grew by 6.84%, Upside by 1.48% and Wired by 0.86% in the same period.
