Published on .

Santa Clara, Calif.--I2 Technologies Inc., Intel Corp. and Siemens AG's Business Services unit on Tuesday said they have partnered to create the “E-Managed Service Chain'' brand of products. The three companies will install electronic supply chain management systems, running such advanced hardware as Pentium III Xeon processor-based servers. They are immediately licensing copies of the system to European manufacturers seeking supply chain efficiencies and will start offering licenses to U.S.-based companies next year.
